History

At Henry Maynard, pupils develop a chronological understanding of the history of Britain and the wider world. They analyse a wide variety of sources (such as artefacts, maps, written accounts) in order to make connections within and between the time periods they study. As they move through the key stages, pupils will develop an understanding of key historical concepts and vocabulary, such as society and empire.
